Teri Magee

I’ve worked in the closet industry for over 20 years, and I studied design at College of DuPage and finished with a BA at Arizona State University. I’ve always had a strong flair for organization and design and keep up with the newest trends.  I am able to scan a client’s home and come up with a design that matches their style and budget. 

I love meeting and working with new people, especially through design work. Working for CHP is great because it’s a close-knit team where customers always come first.  During our initial appointments, I always have a thorough conversation with customers. I believe that’s the key to getting it right the first time. Of course, I also stay in contact with them through the project. 

I love designs that get me to think outside the box. I also love white, because it’s a timeless color.  I love adding a “pop” of color with white, especially as a drawer front or countertop to make a style statement.

I have won 2 National Top Shelf Awards. One of my favorite projects was an “L” shape reach-in closet with bi-fold doors. I had to disguise a gun storage within the closet for antique rifles. It was an obstacle, but it turned out wonderfully. Thanks to my long-term experience, I believe I can achieve almost anything when it comes to closet design.
