We installed a stunning set of Hunter Douglas Applause cellular shadings in single family home in Highland Park. We talked the client’s needs and decided that blackout window shadings would be the best choice for all bedrooms. Due to the depth of the windows, we used a combination of inside and outside mounts in order to ensure a quality, long-last window covering installation. One of the coolest features of this job was the installation of 2 power rise black out skylight shades (shown in the video above) – these allow easy control over the amount of light coming though the skylights. Since Hunter Douglas Applause cellular shadings are very versatile, we were also able to use them on the doors leading into the the study in the master bedroom — we used hold down brackets so the shade stays in place when the door is opened and closed.
