Chicagoland Home Products co-owner Zach Kulasa, of Gurnee, IL, turned a home in Highland Park, IL into a venue for an award winning performance. Woodworking Network, picked Chicagoland Home Products as one of the finalists for its 2016 Top Shelf Closets Design Awards. The winners, chosen from a field of nationwide and international competition, will be named at this year’s Cabinets and Closets Expo in Pasadena, Ca.
The honor came in the category, “Closet: Wood Under 18 linear feet” and involved a CHP project which featured making a closet out of unused space.
Highlights of the project included:
The savings involved in taking, virtually, worthless space and making it into valuable closet storage.
A 24” deep structure providing 13 linear feet of usable hanging, shelves and drawers.
White melamine framing on high quality solid wood maple in shaker styling, serving as an efficient repurposing of unused bedroom space.
Chrome hardware which tastefully accented the whole installation.
A wood crown which ties everything together.
Kulasa said, “It’s great to be nominated for national, industry wide recognition and be seen at the top of our profession, but what really matters to us, week-in and week-out, is the satisfaction from our clients who dream with us to provide the very best storage and window covering solutions in the Chicago area.”
The whole family at Chicagoland Home Products looks forward to providing this same great style and service throughout the Chicago area.
