On June 4th, some of the CHP staff took a quick break from our normal routine of designing window treatments and customized Chicago storage solutions. Instead, we donned our polo shirts, packed our favorite clubs, and headed north to the Glenview Park Golf Club. There, the Optimist Club of Glenview turned into a Chicago golf club for a day, as volunteers got together to attempt their best birdies in order to raise funds for higher education.

Chicagoland Home Products sponsored the 18th hole at the Glenview Park Golf Club to assist with the 14th Annual Scholarship Golf Outing. The Optimist Club of Glenview put everything together, and they’re an amazing organization staffed by volunteers who help to raise money and support youth and community programs. Their support helps to fund sports teams, college scholarships, and counseling programs throughout the area. The Glenview chapter is affiliated with Optimist International, which has over 2,600 clubs worldwide that conduct over 65,000 projects a year!
Overall, the event was a great experience, and we were happy to support such a great group of folks just north of Chicago. Any excuse to play golf for a day is never bad, right?
