Office Cabinets in Buchanan, MI

Designer: Zach Kulasa

City: Buchanan, MI

Project: Office cabinets in color “Slate”

About the Project

Co-owner and designer Zach Kulasa created an elegant storage solution for a modern farmhouse’s office area, located in Buchanan, Michigan.

The dark “Slate” color cabinets look incredibly stylish against the plaid walls chosen by the interior designer. In these cabinets, the client plans to store office materials to stay organized.

Tips for Creating an Organized Home Office

With the rise of remote work, many people are transforming their homes into productive workspaces. As organization experts, we want to share a few valuable tips and insights on how to create an organized home office which helps you feel productive and calm.

  1. Assess Your Space Before diving into the design process, evaluate your available space. Take measurements, consider the layout, and identify any constraints or opportunities. Assessing your space will help you make informed decisions about furniture, storage solutions, and overall functionality.

  2. Optimize Storage Areas Storage is key to maintaining an organized home office. Custom cabinets and shelving help vertical space. At Chicagoland Home Products, we can tailor the design to accommodate your specific storage needs, whether it’s for files, books, supplies, or equipment.
  3. Use Drawer Organizers Keep small items and accessories neatly arranged with custom drawer organizers. Dividers can be designed to fit your office supplies, cables, and stationery to prevent messy clutter.
  4. Use Wall Space Wall-mounted storage solutions, such as wall grids and floating shelves, can help free up desk space.
  5. Declutter Regularly Perhaps the best way to keep your office area organized is to spend at least 30 minutes per week decluttering. Take time to sort through documents and get rid of unnecessary items. A clutter-free workspace reduces distractions and enhances productivity.
