The Mudroom can be a place of disaster – but with a little help it can be an oasis of organization. We worked with our client in Oak Park to create a customized storage solution for housing all of her kids things as they tumble in the door.
Our challenge was space – she had a fairly small area to work with, but wanted 5 separate storage areas for each member of the family. The storage space needed to include room for coats, hats, mittens, shoes and backpacks. Our solution to accomplish this – creating a continuos L-shaped bench paired with an upper storage unit that aligns with the base cabinet creating a built in look. All finished in a stylish “Merapi” we’re happy to say that the final product is both aesthetically pleasing and functioning well!
